Martock

Martock is is a small town in South Somerset and situated just 1½ miles from the A303 London to Exeter road, 6 miles from Yeovil on the edge of the Somerset levels. The town is within easy reach of the Blackdown Hills, the Mendips, the Quantocks, Exmoor and the Dorset coast.

Within a short distance of Martock are a number of historical buildings and sites. The many places worth a visit around this part of Soemerset include: are Montacute House, Barrington Court, Muchelney Abbey, East Lambrook Manor, Cadbury Castle, Forde Abbey, Ham Hill, Haynes Motor Museum, the RNAS Museum at Yeovilton, the Willows and Wetlands Visitor Centre, and Muchelney Pottery.
